CALLING ALL ASPIRING RESEARCHERS!
AVNU and Ryerson University are coming together to conduct a research study and we want you to join our research team!
We are currently looking for young people interested in working with us on guiding this research project. The research will be exploring the relationship between traditional education in a local context (TDSB) to grassroots education throughout the City of Toronto.
WHO IS DOING THE RESEARCH?
AVNU is a collective of organizations that have come together to offer our programs & learning opportunities so you can get access to free & relevant networks, knowledge and resources to benefit you and your community.
This year the folks at AVNU will be working with and Purnima George, Associate Professor at Ryerson School of Social Work. AVNU and Purnima George are seeking guidance from AVNU’s participants to collaboratively create and conduct research that will bring about new opportunities and positive change in grassroots education.
WHAT WILL MY ROLES BE?
Collaborate with other folks in designing what the research will explore and what it will look like
Learn and identify strategies for collecting data
Participate in 2-3 meetings between now and April
