AVNU is a collective of organizations that have come together to offer our programs & learning opportunities so you can get access to free & relevant networks, knowledge and resources to benefit you and your community.
Participants who access 3 or more learning activities earn an AVNU certificate and become eligible to apply for a Learning Journey.
Workshops & Networking
We organize lots of workshops on topics like grant writing, event and festival planning, fundraising, advocacy, marketing and social media and more. These workshops create opportunities for you to expand your networks by meeting other young leaders, potential funders, and mentors.
AVNU offers training programs like Art of Facilitation and Community Arts Leadership for emerging facilitators and leaders who want to hone their skills. These training programs will help you access critical knowledge and skills, and connect to amazing role models and mentors.
You can attend clinics and can speak one-on-one with mentors and leaders in the field, getting support and advice that is specific to your project.
After receiving AVNU certification, you are able to apply for the opportunity to travel outside of Canada to work with youth in other countries. You will be able to learn about new cultures, share your knowledge and learn from the experiences shared by other young people from organizations around the world.
